This hands on, fun filled and very educational program will challenge your creativity as you are introduced to the amazing world of robotics and programming, using the Arduino micro-controller.

**Please note that students will not keep the robotics kit at the end of the workshop**
Learning Outcome
- Learn to program the Arduino using block codes
- Learn how to connect a circuit and program the Arduino board to read input and generate outputs such as blinking LED lights, sounding a buzzer, driving a motor etc.
- Make a project that will convert the Arduino into a keyboard controller.
- extend knowledge and conceptual understandings of practical technology
- use programming software to develop programs to control the Arduino
- Use a wide variety of hardware components and prototype your projects using a breadboard
What you need:
- A fully charged laptop with charger
- Pre-downloaded software
- A school issued chromebook will not work for this program
- Morning and afternoon snack, lunch and water bottle
