Practical Website Development
Our practical web development course is designed for high school students (Years 7–12) to understand how websites are developed. Students will learn web development principles using HTML and CSS, gaining hands-on experience in building and styling web pages.Â
Beyond the technical foundations, the course introduces students to how to leverage AI tools and online resources to design, build, and launch websites more efficiently. Students will also learn the basics of website hosting and publishing, so they can take their projects live.
To complete the experience, we cover digital skills to drive traffic to the website through Google ads and social media—giving students a well-rounded introduction to both building and sharing their work online.
By the end of the course, students will have created their own fully functional website and developed skills that are directly applicable in today’s fast paced digital landscape.
