OUR STORY
OZCode Academy was founded when we realized there was a huge gap in the digital literacy and computational thinking skills at primary and high school levels in the ACT. As computer technology becomes increasingly embedded across many aspects of life, business and industry, digital proficiency is a vital “foundational skill” for the younger generation, upon which jobs of the future will depend.
We also see Universities placing a renewed emphasis on science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) in response to the digital explosion of the 21st century.
By teaching our kids coding from an early age, we are empowering them to go beyond a consumer of technology – to potentially becoming a creator, designer, and adapter of technology.
OUR TEAM
Our tutors for kids and teens are young graduates, passionate about coding and excited to share their knowledge with the next generation. We inject fun into the learning process, believe in respecting each student’s different learning styles and are always positive and encouraging.
All our tutors have experience working with kids and have undertaken a current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) check.
